ok people if u were confused by birds message a while ago then this might help
please be sure the picture has been saved to your computer either on the desktop, to a CD, etc as a JPEG file. Got the picture saved? Excellent. Let’s move along.
To host a picture, go to www.imageshack.us.
On the right hand side of the screen will be a button labeled “Browse”. Take a moment to note the black text box to the left of the “Browse button”. Go ahead and click on the “Browse” button.
àThis will bring up a pup up box entitled “Choose File” that allows you to select your Image file from where ever you saved it. After locating your image file, either double click on the image file OR select the image file, then click on Open.
If you look at the text box to the left the “Browse” button, it has been auto-populated with the image file location information.
Scroll down a little or look at the bottom of your screen to find the white button labeled “host it”. Click on this button.
After a moment or so, ImageShack will change to show you a list of text boxes filled with various “addresses”. To the far right, directly after each text box, will be a description of what purpose the “address” servers. Scroll down toward the bottom of the screen.
Look for a text box that is labeled as “Direct link to image”. This is typically the last text box, but it may vary.
Highlight the “address” in the associated text box. While the address is highlighted, point your mouse cursor at the address and right mouse click. This will bring up a cursor menu. Point at the “Copy” option in the cursor menu and left click.
Congrats! You just hosted a picture successfully!
Now to use this information so others may see the image you hosted.
In your main text box for either a new topic or reply, simply type
Then right mouse click to bring up your curser menu. Select and left mouse click on “paste” to paste the address you copied from ImageShack. (If this is done separately, remember to enter the address that is a direct link to the image otherwise you will not have an image….just a blank screen and a lot of frustration.)
Now type [/img]
